Al Qaeda calls for revenge attacks after bin Laden death

Al Qaeda is warning that the U.S. has committed a "big mistake" and serious sin against them by killing Osama Bin Laden. They are calling on all Muslims to massively avenge the death of their faithful leader. In a statement that has been posted on the Internet, Al Qaeda's media organization, Al-Fajir, says the American people "will pay a severe price" for the raid that was performed by American special ops on May 2 that killed Bin Laden in his compound in Pakistan. The article acknowledges that the president Barack Obama "is protected by armies," but they ask Americans "who will protect them against their raid and attack on the people?" The statement also urges the Muslim people to use Bin Laden's death as motivation to carry out their own attacks, according to the transcript provided Tuesday by the SITE Intel group, which monitors these kinds of militant messages.

After reading this article I felt scared for the American people. The people who wrote this article seem serious, and I feel their will be some severe attacks in the near future. It was posted by many media outlets that killing Bin Laden will end terrorism on American turf, and also bring the American troops out of Afghanistan. I believe the exact opposite. I think that this killing will anger the terrorist more and increase the frequency and severeness of their attacks on the American people.
